Workshop
My teaching style bases in body awareness, creativity, laughing and doing it! I'm a teacher that likes to give students tools to use, this way people walk away with specific examples to use in their dance and an awareness of where the example came from so you can come up with more on your own.

This class (Avoid the List) gave an easy to understand approach to solo blues that was both simple and insightful. Jenny knows how to present material clearly and concisely and runs a well balanced class.
- Feedback from Steel City Blues 2015
Jenny is such a knowledgeable instructor who is still goofy and approachable. She really encouraged the dancers to play and have fun, and you could see that people took this to heart during the open dances.

Jenny's class was a great way for me to break out of my box and be more creative with my solo dance. I liked the focus she had on different aspects of moves, transitions, and basic patterns that we could apply to what we were doing. Very fun and useful.

I love solo blues. I have done it for about 2 years now, but I always had many awkward moments where I didn't know how to keep the dance going. After Jenny's insight on meaningful transitions, my solo dancing has become much more naturally creative and less about me thinking of a list of moves to do.
